The top technology trends in 2024 are definitely AI /ML which are progressing like fireworks. The story of Sam Altman’s firing and reinstatement sums it all. The VCs and other corporate investors, as well as fund managers, are pouring in billions of dollars into AI/ML related startups to accelerate the disruption that AI/ML can bring into robotics, healthcare, banking, autonomous driving, weather forecasting, customer support and more. Other technology trends that continue to dominate after AI/ML are RPA (or IPA), No-code and low code platforms, IoT and Data Management Solutions. The top multinational companies plan to invest more than 50% of their IT budget dollars in AI and RPA/IPA. Whereas less than half of the IT budget dollars will go into IoT, Data Management and No-code/Low code.
On the healthcare front, a thorough study of Blue Zones around the world revealed that there are five pillars that contribute to the longevity of the people who live 100 years and beyond are: greens or garden vegetables; nuts as a snack; beans or a cup of beans a day; tubers like sweet potatoes; and whole grains. So, we ask our employees around the world to adopt some of these diets to lead a healthy life in 2024.
